Ductile cast iron

Used in brake parts for automobiles and construction machinery, as well as in valves for water and gas.

Our company manufactures high-strength castings using ductile iron (spheroidal graphite cast iron), which boasts excellent strength. By evenly distributing the molten metal within the mold, we have reduced the likelihood of defective products and enabled the use of higher quality products. The high-quality products we create are used in a variety of applications that protect everyday life, including brake components for automobiles and industrial machinery, as well as valves for water and gas. *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.

Work/Industrial Machinery Frame Ductile Cast Iron FCD450

Casting X - A casting method using digital technology for large and small rod castings. For cost reduction, contact Tomotetsu Industry!

FMC casting creates a foam model in the same shape as the product using expanded polystyrene, embeds that foam model in a sand mold, and produces the product through replacement with molten metal. This process makes it difficult for burrs to form and allows for the creation of complex and high-precision products. For small lots, cost reduction is possible compared to the wooden pattern method. Cost reduction is also possible with original (steel substitute) materials.

A new foundry for ductile cast iron

We deliver high-quality products made from materials such as FC200, FC300, FCD-S, and FCD400 to 700.

Ductile cast iron is a tough cast iron that enhances the strength, which was a weakness of traditional cast iron. However, this also results in a decrease in the vibration absorption capability, which is a strength of regular cast iron (gray cast iron). Our company offers both types, so we can provide products that meet our customers' needs.

Ductile cast iron substitute for cast steel VE

High strength with a yield strength of over 90%! Excellent wear resistance, resulting in superior surface roughness during the cutting process.

The product is manufactured by applying heat treatment (QT) to FCD800. It has high strength, with outstanding fatigue strength in the black skin area. It excels in wear resistance and achieves excellent surface roughness in the cutting process. While austempered ductile iron (ADI) with a hardness of HB320 is already difficult to machine, this cast iron can be processed even at a high hardness of around HB430, allowing for gear cutting and small hole tapping. 【Features】 - High strength with outstanding fatigue strength in the black skin area - High yield ratio of 90% (yield strength = over 1080 MPa) - No grinding process required (no heat treatment after cutting) - Excellent wear resistance - Superior damping ability (reduced operating noise compared to steel) *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
